ROMERO CONDORI PEDRO EDUARDO
Doctor of Natural Sciences (Dr. rer. nat., PhD in Natural Sciences) from Goethe University Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Master’s degree in Molecular Biology and Biologist with a specialization in Cell Biology and Genetics from the National University of San Marcos. Since 2023, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Biological Sciences, UNMSM.

Ricardo Jean Pierre Merino Rojas
Biologist, graduate of the Genetics and Biotechnology program at UNMSM, currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Molecular Biology at UNMSM. Experienced in molecular biology techniques, cell biology, and bioinformatics, with a focus on virology, biodiversity, and molecular ecology. Aspires to lead innovative projects in biotechnology and genetic resources.

Carlos Vilca Alzamora
Biologist specialized in herpetology, with experience in ecological monitoring, wildlife conservation, and fieldwork across multiple Peruvian ecoregions. Currently pursuing a Master’s in Biodiversity and Ecosystem Management, and actively involved in research projects on geckos, lizards, and amphibians. Recognized for strong technical skills, leadership, and a conservation-focused approach.

KEYLA MIRELY TORRES CHICLAYO
Keyla Torres is pursuing a PhD in Health Sciences at the National University of San Marcos, Peru. Her research focuses on the surveillance of antibiotic resistance genes in Yarinacocha Lagoon, an Amazonian ecosystem impacted by domestic and hospital wastewater. Her work analyzes environmental and anthropogenic factors influencing antimicrobial resistance to assess potential public health risks.

KATHY CÓRDOVA RODRIGUEZ
Marine biologist specialized in the study of the ocean and its organisms. Her scientific interest focuses on understanding climate change effects on marine species within the Peruvian upwelling system. She uses environmental and oceanographic information to understand the biological and molecular responses of organisms.
